Hunter Financial Mentoring was started by Eric Hunter. After graduating from the Virginia Military Institute with an Economics and Business degree and a Concentration in Financial Management, he went to work for one of the “Big Four” accounting firms.
With the heart of a teacher, and a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others, he knew there was something more out there. He would often ask: “Why do people spend their money on that?†and “Why do people not invest more of their money?†He decided to ask himself, “How could I make a difference?†With a constant nagging at his heart, he knew that there was something bigger out there for him, something that would help individuals, families, and future generations. He knew that he could make a difference by starting a mentoring company that focused on finances.
Hunter Financial Mentoring specializes in helping individuals and couples become financially organized by working with them on anything from budgeting and debt reduction to wealth building.

After 13 years in Lynchburg, Andrea Roth started ‘You Do My To-Do,’ concierge and virtual assistant service.
“My first visit to Lynchburg was in the fall of 1996 when I drove down from Philadelphia to interview for the catering director’s job at a local college. When I entered the dining hall and saw that they had tablecloths and fresh flowers on each table, I knew this was the place for me. Since then I have worked in several other food establishments, received a bachelor’s and a master’s degree, and started my own concierge and virtual assistant business. My first love is and always will be food and entertaining, but I now reserve that selfishly for my friends and family only. In my new role I get to help people accomplish the tedious tasks that are preventing them from living the life they want. It’s a great feeling to watch someone’s mood lift as they realize the freedom that comes from turning over tasks and projects that are weighing them down.  Developing a partnership with my clients and becoming a valued member of the family or business is my goal.â€â€¨â€¨

I’ve been here for 21 years
“I came here from the Virginia Beach area to raise my family. I was the General Manager for a local retail store prior to becoming licensed as a real estate broker. Â I am happily married and raised three sons. Â I currently volunteer for Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
“My passion is helping people, and creating communities to engage, inspire, influence and interact. My success today results from my ability to build, leverage and sustain solid, quality mutually beneficial relationships on multiple levels, and within the world of real estate. I use these tools to leverage negotiations and transactions making getting to the settlement table easier in a changing market. For me everything is all about relationships.”
