Well, we went back and neither of us finished our food. The ribs were dry and overcooked... or at least one of them was... and they were precooked and the BBQ sauce just drizzled on top. The mac and cheese was flavorless. The salad -the blue cheese one- was also flavorless. How can a salad have no taste? The cheese was ice cold (the last time I checked cheese is suppose to be served room temp) and the strawberries were bland. Her Shepards Pie was not even average. It was dressed up with broccoli too. Hummmmm. Anyway, we tried again and I am not sure why. However, for Lynchburg it IS decent food.
Waiter was annoying. Tried to be knowledgeable.

An almost adequate restaurant. Disappointing. Food was bland. Will try again in a few months to see if things improved.

This is blog owner Jennifer Bailey. i just wanted to add some personal notes about the supper club. Chef Preston is not only an amazing chef, but a caring wonderful person. His food is wonderful and while he doesnt really compete with any other restaurants in town, he does bring a cultural and unique dining atmosphere to Lynchburg and surrounding areas. I have personally been to several of the dining experiences and I can say first-hand that they were one of the best experiences I have been able to have here locally. Thank you Chef Preston!

I work at Amazement Square, and as part of our downtown revitalization efforts A.S. will be renovating and connecting that tunnel to the warehouse beside it (set to break ground tentatively in Nov. 2011). As our founders did with the J.W. Wood building (current home of Amazement Square at 27 Ninth Street), we strive to maintain the historical integrity of fascinating sites like these. Definitely one to check out!

I am looking for what murder mystery you will be doing Halloween weekend. I will be in town that weekend only and would like a fun evening and thought of a Murder Mystery Dinner. I do not see anything scheduled for that weekend. Did I miss something??
